By the end of the 19th century, European empires dominated Africa, Asia and Oceania.

answer the questions.

1. Which two empires controlled most of Africa? Which other countries were involved in
the colonization of Africa?
2. Which empire took control of India and Australia? Which other countries were involved
in the colonization of Asia?
3. Make a list of the five European empires which controlled the most territories in Africa
and Asia.
4. Which other countries had extended their territories by the 19th century?
