Many people think that emails are better than letters. They're cheaper and faster to write and send. Emails sending is almost instant, so they are much better than letters if you want to communicate something urgent. Normally, ecologists favor them because it's not necessary to use paper for writting an email, so they're good for the environment!
On the other hand, there are lots of people who think that communicating by letter is easier because they don't dominate new technologies. In fact, traditional letters have lots of advantages. They are better for sending romantic messages, because you can conservate them and lots of people like to hold traditional paper letters. They're also good to practice your writing, because when you write an email it's usual to use abbreviations and all that stuff.
To sum up, I think emails are very useful but they shouldn't replace completaly traditional letters. What do you think?

Me, In some aspects I like more emails because everyday I have to communicate with teachers, send school works or videos. The letters... I love write letters, it's so cute and I can improve my calligraphy, but I only do once a year haha, so finally I prefer emails.

Without any doubt, I prefer e-mails because is the quickest way of communication. I understood other opinions such as: "letters are more traditional" altough I don´t share tem. How I said before, I vote for emails

Well, I think emails are more useful for issues related to work, communicate with friends, or formal stuff than letters because they are faster and free!

I totally agree with Jaime, emails are just faster and cheaper. I think nowadays letters aren't really better than the email in any aspect, so my vote goes for emails
